Customer reviews are not treated as surface-level feedback at Appliance Giant. Management regularly analyses customer reviews, support trends, delivery issues and order experiences to identify where we are performing well and where we need to improve.

Some feedback has highlighted areas where customers wanted clearer communication, faster updates, better order visibility and stronger follow-through when supply or delivery issues occurred. We have taken that feedback seriously and used it to guide improvements across our internal systems, team processes and customer communication.

Operations

From customer feedback to better systems.

As our online business grew, we recognised that traditional retail processes were no longer enough to support the level of visibility customers expected. Customers wanted clearer updates from the moment an order was placed through to supplier allocation, warehouse processing, dispatch, delivery and after-sales support.

One area where we identified we were falling short was IT infrastructure. Our team needed a stronger way to track each order from beginning to end, identify possible delays earlier, and reduce the chance of customers needing to chase updates.

In response, Appliance Giant began developing and improving an internal ERP-style system to give our team greater visibility across the full order journey. The goal is to help track each order more clearly, flag potential issues earlier, and support the team in resolving problems before they impact the customer experience.
